Who we are

Kerry and Suzanne Walker started The 8th Wonder Cleaning Company in 1994 from scratch – grafting, cold calling and persisting until it took off. Speaking of taking off, did you spot the US Air Force One photo? During President Clinton’s 1999 visit to Christchurch, Kerry was asked to go aboard to help remedy a carpet emergency – a great workday story, and a real privilege! They sold The 8th Wonder Cleaning Company but when it came up for sale in 2019, they bought it and added it to their business, Advanced Carpet Cleaning. Suzanne takes care of all bookings and office management. And when they’re not working or looking after life’s other important stuff, you’ll likely find Kerry on a golf course!
